As announced last Sunday, we've decided to seize a great opportunity and to move the location of our Sunday morning service to Jane Austen College, effective from next Sunday 8th April 2018.
Over the last months it became increasingly clear to us that, though it has served us well since we started out in October 2016, The Hewett Academy was no longer able to meet our needs as a growing church and so we started to prayerfully consider the next step. We believe the provision of Jane Austen College is an answer to those prayers; it is a beautiful venue with excellent facilities and ample free underground parking (in addition to free Sunday parking on nearby streets); it takes us into the heart of the city and affords us an even greater opportunity to grow a church for the city, in the city. We therefore believe this new venue will serve our church's aims and objectives extremely well in this next season of growth and development.
We also announced last Sunday that, after consulting with our members at the last AGM, we have decided to accelerate a decision to change our service start time to 10:30am. This means that from this Sunday onwards we will be meeting at 10:30am at Jane Austen College.
These are exciting times! God is on the move! And we are on the move!
