Our Sunday service takes place at Jane Austen College. The address is Claxton House, 46-48 Colegate, NR3 1DD. For our postal address, click here. See our live Calendar for location information about our other meetings.

Public Transport

Jane Austen College is in the heart of the city and is therefore served by any bus route coming into the city; click here to plan your bus journey. We are also within walking distance of Norwich train station; click here to see the best way to walk to us from the station.

By Car

If coming by car via Duke Street, please note that you can’t turn right onto Colegate from Duke Street due to the one way system but you can access Colegate from the next street on the right called Muspole Street. Then all you have to do is follow Muspole Street round onto Colegate.

If you are coming from the A147 (St Crispins Road) there is a left turn onto Calvert Street that you can take just after you come down from the flyover and well before the roundabout (the turn is immediately after Austin House, which will be on your left - look out for the Colegate Car Park sign). Then take the first right onto Cross Lane and bear left onto St George’s Street, after which you need to turn right onto Colegate.

Colegate is also accessible via Fye Bridge Street/Magdalen Street. If coming from Magdalen Street turn right into Colegate and drive all the way down; if coming from Fye Bridge Street turn left into Colegate and drive all the way down.

Parking

We have use of an underground car park at Jane Austen College which provides ample parking space for our attendees - but do come early to be sure of a space! We also have a handful of disabled bays overground for those with mobility issues; our Car Park Team will be happy to assist you.

You will also find a number of free pay and display parking places in the nearby streets. However please be sure to read the parking signage correctly; some signs say "Mon-Sat" but have a sign below saying "Sunday all day - permit holders only" - you should not park in these spaces (see picture below).

JAC Parking Signs.jpg

You can park for free on a Sunday morning where you find signage similar to the one on the left side of this picture; the sign on the right-hand example means you are not permitted to park in that section on a Sunday.

There are also multiple paid car parks (e.g. St Andrews, Duke Street, Premier Inn, Colegate) within a couple of minutes walk from our venue. The closest one is the Premier Inn car park; in fact, though it is accessible via Duke Street too, if you come in to the entrance to Jane Austen College, instead of going down into our underground car park just go round to the right and that will take you into the pay and display car park.
