Prayer Points for Day of Prayer & Fasting (13/06/18)

Thank you for signing up to pray for one hour today. In this hour do pray as the Lord leads you but, to help us pray as one body across this day, please use the points below as a guide.

Read Matthew 9:37-38. Pray for a mobilisation of our members/attenders into mission and ministry (i.e. into workers). Pray that we would be a people who go out into the “harvest field”.

Pray that we would be a church that takes responsibility for the lost, the last and the least. Pray that the ‘My 3’ prayer initiative (in which we ask church folk to pray regularly for 3 people in their circle who don’t yet know Jesus) would be something that becomes part of the culture of the church.

Call in the multitudes into One Church. Pray that we would see a genuine move of salvation as we go after the lost.

Pray for an increase in signs, wonders and miracles - for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit and a mighty demonstration of God's power in and beyond One Church (Acts 4:33; Romans 15:18-19 & 1 Corinthians 2:4).

Read 2 Chronicles 7:14 & Romans 12:1-2. Pray for all in our church family that each and every one of us will seek to consecrate ourselves and be dedicated to God’s service in daring faith, unswerving hope and radical love.

Read Deuteronomy 6:5-7 & Matthew 18:5-6. Pray that the children and youth in our church will be protected; that they will grow and flourish in all that God has for them. Pray that they will have a relationship with Jesus from a very early age; that they will know His commandments and walk in all His ways. Pray too that they will know their true identity in Christ; that they will be strong and do great exploits.

Pray for an increase in our youth work on a Friday night, for fresh ideas and for the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Pray that young people will be radically saved.

Pray also for those in the church involved with teaching and training our children and young people – and especially for Ian & Tabitha Sadler as they lead this ministry.

Pray for the schools in the locality – that there would be open doors to us as we seek to be a blessing to staff, students and their families.

Read Romans 13:1-5 & Hebrews 13:17-18. Pray for Dominic and Catherine De Souza, our Senior Leaders, and their children Kobie, Ariella and the baby to be born later this year, asking for God’s anointing and protection; also for strength and fresh revelation of His Word and fresh impartation of the Holy Spirit.

Pray for all leaders and volunteers in our church family - for strength, anointing, guidance and protection of the Holy Spirit.  Pray that in all our serving we will glorify Jesus.

Pray that, as a church, we will be encouragers one to another on our journey, standing together in adversity and rejoicing in the victory we have in Jesus!
